About the consultations

The consultations offered through this site are peer-support conversations between patients. During a consultation I share my personal experience and help you prepare questions for your medical team. I will never diagnose a condition, recommend for or against surgery, interpret medical results, or suggest treatments. Any decision about your eyes must be made together with your own doctors.

Strabismus varies enormously from person to person. My outcome, and any outcome described on this blog, is one individual experience and does not predict yours. Statistics mentioned in articles are general ranges reported in public sources and may not apply to your case.

Emergencies

If you experience sudden vision loss, double vision of sudden onset, severe eye pain, signs of infection after surgery, or any other urgent symptom, contact your surgeon, doctor, or local emergency services immediately. Do not use this website or its contact form for anything urgent.
